Mrs. Yolanda Sullivan, Director, has over 25 years of experience working with children She holds a BA Degree in Behavior Science as well as a degree in nursing and a Children Center Permit from Gavilan College. Mrs. Sullivan loves children and has a passion about creating a learning environment which helps children develop healthy habits early in life.

Mrs. Isabel Aguayo has worked at Little Sonshine School for 14 years. She teaches our youngest students who start at 2 1/2 years old. Her love for them and her ability to teach them gives them a sound foundation to begin their education and to discover the world around them.

Mrs. Angie Lee teaches kindergarten and holds a Masters degree in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her BA degree in Child Development from San Jose State University. Mrs. Lee has been teaching elementary aged children for more than 8 years.

Mrs. Luisa is our lead after school care teacher. She is fully credentialed and is experienced in caring for young children. She shows her students love and care.

Mrs. Casie Piccardo has over ten years experience working with children in a school setting and this is her second year teaching at Little Sonshine. She is a fully credentialed preschool teacher.  She has been a member of this community for over fifteen years. She has been married for 18 years and has two children ages seven and eleven.

Mrs. Mary Rosever has over 13 years experience working with children from pre-school to first grade. She has a great love for children and departs this to the children through a warm, caring and creative spirit. Mrs. Rosever has been teaching at Little Sonshine for 9 years.

Mrs. Janean Ruiz has worked with pre-school and elementary children for 30 years in schools and churches. She has lived in this community for 40 years and her son was in one of the first classes at Little Sonshine School. She served as a librarian for seven years. Mrs. Ruiz has a passion for children’s literature and enjoys incorporating it into the daily curriculum with the goal of instilling a love of literature and reading in the children.

Mrs. Bernadette Simmonds has over 25 years of experience working with children and young people, infant to 18 years old. She holds a BA Honors Degree and is fully credentialed as a preschool teacher. Her love and dedication to teaching young children has won her an award from the Bishop.

Mrs. Olga Young’s love of teaching children has kept her in the childcare profession for 30 years. She has taught children as young as infants to school age. She has 14 years experience working with special needs children, an area of interest that she finds insightful and rewarding. Mrs. Young is a fully credentialed preschool teacher. Having raised 2 children of her own, she has re-enrolled at Gavilan College to further her studies in early childhood education.
